Globe Broadband FUP - September 2017
Few days ago I received a noticed in browser saying that I've used up 120 GB of my 150 GB bandwidth allowance.
Yesterday, I kept getting disconnected to internet. Today, everything seems to load very slow. I had a hunch, so I used speedtest.ph
There you go, my speed has been downgraded to 512 kbps because I used up all my bandwidth quota for the month. FUP in effect. I will keep having this speed for the rest of the month.
Should we update our plan to 20Mbps? Nope I don't think so, I prefer to update or downgrade to Plan 1599 Go Big (10Mbps, 400GB + 100GB for YouTube), slower speed but bigger bandwidth. If we update our plan, we will have another 24 months lock-in, which I don't want because I want to switch to a better telco like CovergeICT. Their FiberX 1500 plan offers 20 Mbps UNLIMITED FIBER for only P1500. Fuck metered plans!!

Tried speedtest around 1am of October 1, regular speed of 15mbps is now back.Subscription
We're subscribed in old 15 Mbps plan 1599 with 150 GB bandwidth (we pay around P17xx.00 vat included), its current equivalent is 20 Mbps Plan 1599 (fiber) with same 150 GB bandwidth.Should we update our plan to 20Mbps?
