Angkas used to be a very cheap alternative to Grab and Uber in transporting passengers using Motorcycle only, but they were recently suspended by LTFRB. Now they venture in parcel delivery service which rivals Grab Express Lite (Roadside Delivery).

Package Inspection

You need to show the contents of your parcel to the rider to make sure no illegal and prohibited items are being transported.

Prohibited Items:  cash, precious stones or jewelry, weapons and other hazardous materials, animals, human remains, pornography, all illegal goods such as narcotics.

Regular Holiday

The beauty is that... I was not charge an additional surcharge for delivery this Dec 30 holiday (unlike Lalamove and Grab Express). I've only been charged P166 for 12km delivery distance.

Booking via Mobile App

Booking is very simple. You enter the Pick-up and Destination, then enter your notes to the rider. How about the receiver/consignee's information? Don't worry, the rider will give you a form to fill-up regarding the details of the delivery.

This is my first experience with Angkas Padala and it is definitely positive! Might use it again when need arises. For the same distance and destination, Lalamove charges P188 (P268 with surcharge), Grab Express charges P198 (P257 with surcharge) while Angkas Padala charges only P166, no surcharge!

Since it's my first time using it, I didn't know that once you press the X button and close the booking summary, you won't be able to rate the rider anymore. I didn't get to rate koya. Sorrry.
