I received an SMS message from GCash last Nov 28, offering a FREE upgrade of old GCash Mastercard to their new GCash EMV. I applied for GCash Mastercard last april and it was still the Old Gcash Mastercard.

I went to my preferred pickup branch then present the SMS to the GCash rep. The rep immediately processed the re-carding; asked for a VALID ID and to fill-up a form. It only took less than 30 mins. The FREE GCash Mastercard with EMV that I've received doesn't have BEEP. If you want the one with BEEP, you have to get it for P210.
The new GCash Mastercard with EMV costs P150. That day I spent P50 for fare back-and-forth + P100 food; a total of P150, plus a total commute time of around 2.5 hours. The total hours spent outside for this trip (including some shopping) = 6 hours ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )
BTW, it costs P20 to withdraw from ATM.
